Footnote: The Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes was established by Heinrich Brüning in 1931 as part of the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt (National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization) with the slogan “None shall starve nor freeze”

His name was brought to the notice of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty for valuable services rendered during the Great War

It turned out to be an excellent deal for many years

Long pouch stitched to the body of the cover on the front

they saw little action in the early stage of the invasion
